Hand Carved Asian Wood Screen
This is a stop in your tracks kind of piece. Likely from the late 19th century, this four panel hand-carved screen is truly a work of art. Made of 4 wood panels connected by three hinges, the front depicts various dragons and other intricate carvings while the back panels reveal different designs of floral and botanical carvings. Each panel is unique but complimentary. Could work as two sets of two panels or could be attached to make a continuous set of four.
Dimensions: Each panel ranges in width from 19”-21” and all are 72” H x 1.25” D
Imperfections: Excellent antique condition. Wood has some natural discoloration, small spots where room paint transferred and one spot on a dragon where the wood was chipped. Currently two sets of panels are attached but all four can be. Do not have original screws to attach the two sets.
