We believe this box is too pretty to have been a coal box but alas, that is its original use. The box is covered with embossed brass depicting a bar scene from centuries ago. This could be used a coffee table, chest for blankets or toys, etc!

Imperfections: A large spot of discoloration on the top. Minor dings and wear consistent with its age.
